Will this work for my large and strong dog?
Of course! We made this cable specifically to work for the largest and strongest dogs. The thick 6mm diameter body provides a minimum breaking strength of 2000 lbs. Yes, you read that right… minimum of 2000 lbs!
How about for medium and small dogs, will this work for them?
Yes! Our cable can provide the same security and convenience no matter what breed or size of dog you have. All you need to decide is what length of cable you need!
I’ve had a cable in the past that rusted. What makes a Royal Paw Dog Cable any better?
We’re glad you asked! Unlike other brands who use lower grade metal, we went 3-steps above and used a Marine Grade Stainless Steel 316 material. This alloy blend is stronger and will prevent rust and corrosion, even in direct exposure water.
What length of cable should I get for my dog?
The length should depend on the size and activity level of your dog. If you have a large dog or an active dog who likes to run, we suggest a length of 20 feet or more. For smaller dogs or dogs who like to lounge, 20 feet or less is perfect.
Does this come with a Dog Stake? Which one should I get?
A Dog Stake is NOT included. Although we highly recommend purchasing and pairing it with our Original Royal Paw Dog Stake, you can use our cable with any dog stake of your choice. Just be sure the stake is rated for your dog’s size and weight.
